Direct treatment of active workings
Where live termites are working through a wall cavity, door frame or subfloor timber, a localised application puts a transferable termiticide dust or foam directly into the galleries. Workers moving through treated tunnels carry the active constituent deeper into the colony's traffic. It is fast and precise, and almost never the whole answer by itself.

Timing
When it's needed
The immediate response once an investigation confirms live activity in the structure. Expect it to be paired with a soil treatment or baiting program afterwards, knocking down the visible attack without addressing future entry leaves the building exactly as approachable as it was before.
Leave live termite workings undisturbed until a technician has seen them, keep children and pets away from freshly treated soil and open trenches during works, and never handle bait station contents. If you suspect termiticide has entered a waterway or tank supply, contact the applicator and the NSW EPA.
